Mindful Perceptions

Hello and welcome to my website

I take a holistic approach to life, healing and wellbeing. I am a registered midwife and I celebrated 40 years in healthcare and the NHS in January 2023. I have worked as a midwife for 33 years.

I am experienced in teaching mindfulness, and I am a workplace mindfulness practitioner. I have previously worked at an NHS Trust delivering mindfulness sessions Trust wide. This was well received.

I completed a one-year course to teach Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and I am registered with BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches).

I am an experienced healer, both in Reiki and Spiritual Healing, a KG Hypnobirthing teacher, and also have extensive experience and expertise in professional supervision.

I am so grateful and can’t thank Denise enough for introducing me to mindfulness

"I had started to get anxiety and panic attacks following a cancer diagnosis when Denise introduced me to a mindfulness course that she teaches.

From the very first exercise of body and breath meditation, I started to feel a slight improvement in my anxiety levels.

After 3 sessions of the course, I was definitely feeling a lot better, and my anxiety levels were reduced and the panic attacks had stopped.

I still have challenging days but by practicing mindfulness I have found I can get through the day more easily.

I am so grateful and can’t thank Denise enough for introducing me to mindfulness.

It has worked for me and helped me to avoid taking medication for my anxiety.
