Hypnotherapy is the use of words that are focused in a positive way to help people let go of some of the negative ideas they have acquired in life.  Hypnotherapy works because the suggestions going into the subconscious mind have an influence on us, whether or not we listen actively to them. KG Hypnobirthing will give you and your partner/and or birthing partner the tools to make choices, have confidence with decision making and remain calm and comfortable during the birthing process.  KG Hypnobirthing has been proven to be very effective in empowering women and their partners to create, to the best of their ability, an empowering birth experience.

KG Hypnobirthing is a comprehensive antenatal and labour and birth course. “This course is perfectly designed to enable the mother to work with her body, which is naturally designed to give birth.”

Knowledge is power and the course will empower you and your partner to make the best decisions for you and your baby, and prepare you both for a natural gentle birth that will have a positive effect on you, your partner and your baby.

The KG Hypnobirthing course releases any fear and negativity that you and your partner may have surrounding labour and childbirth and replaces the fear with a calmness and confidence that you may not have had before.

KG Hypnobirthing is a logical, simple practical and effective educational programme. It gives you and your partner the tools to give the baby the best possible start in life. KG Hypnobirthing changes and empowers you and/ or partner/birthing partner and can have a profound positive effect on the baby which lasts a lifetime.

KG Hypnobirthing consists of specific relaxation scripts, breathing exercises, antenatal and labour information. Putting all this knowledge together has a profound positive effect on the pregnancy, labour and birth.  KG Hypnobirthing works on the premise that pain is not there in the first place. It is a system of letting go, and this is taught as part of antenatal preparation, “the letting go of fear and the building of confidence.”

KG Hypnobirthing gives you and your partner/birthing partner a comprehensive skill set, to prepare yourself for labour and childbirth. The KG Hypnobirthing course empowers you to have informed choice, stay calm and comfortable when labour happens.

The antenatal preparation for example explains the anatomy of pregnancy and labour.  Knowing how the muscles work in the uterus can enable you both to make the link between pain caused in labour and how fear is linked to pain. You will learn how the KG Hypnobirthing practices can assist you to achieve a relaxed state and have a natural labour. The more informed you and your partner are the more understanding you and your partner will have.

Hopefully you and your partner/birthing partner  will embrace the practice of relaxation techniques and positive affirmations, that is taught in the KG Hypnobirthing programme. Whilst one cannot guarantee a natural birth by practicing these techniques, using them can assist the body to be as relaxed as possible during labour, leading to a calm birth and a positive experience.

I can also provide bespoke antenatal classes for those who request these.  All classes can be taught via Zoom.
